The entry documents will be filed at the port for the final destination provided on the invoice. What is the Customs Port code for this intended port?

How to get there

Box 10 of the commercial invoice, Final Destination, reads Chicago-Midway Airport. Look that location up in Schedule D (CBP District and Port Codes, HTSUS Annex C):

The answer is 3910: B.

Why the other choices are wrong

A) 3901: the general Chicago port. Midway airport has its own code, and Schedule D wants the specific port.
C) 5501: Dallas/Ft. Worth. That's where the consignee is (Chill Bedspreads, Dallas), not the final destination.
D) 5582: Midland International Airport, Midland, TX. Another Texas airport that has nothing to do with this shipment.
Trap!
Practical-exercise invoices list several places: shipper, consignee, port of lading and final destination. Read the question for which one it wants, then find the most specific Schedule D code. Codes ending in 01 are usually the district's main port, not its airports.
